When I rip a movie to HD it's not the entire movie.
Although the ripping process gets to 100% and finishing with "Done" the movie is incomplete. The end is missing, not a couple of frames but like 10-30 minutes or so.
I have this with all DVD's that I try to rip :/
I only have the entire video when I rip in Direct Stream Copy, but then I can't re-encode the video stream to fit it on a DVDR.
I'm using common programs like Smartripper and DVD Decrypter for this.
Somebody with similar problem? or with a solution?
Thanks,
MrSnake

Sound like you need to change to NTFS ?
Fat32 only supports file sizes up to 4gb so it chops the movie off after this although smartripper says it completed ok. -
NTFS? That means I need a new Windows install, argh.
No way to prevent that?

If you are using win2000 or XP you can just use the convert command at the command prompt to change to NTFS or partition magic does it quite easily, either way you don't have to re-install windows.
