black screen during encode

i have a movie and i just joined it and now wen i encode it the beginning is fine but than after 2-3 minutes the screen stays black and doesn't go back. Its not the movie b/c i watched it already.

are you by chance trying to view this in a downloaded dvd-player software like "WINDVD" or "PowerDVD"?

If you are, its because its a "demo" version, and it only allows you to watch the first few minutes of your movie!

You will either have to view it in another program, or buy the licence for the full use of the software
