converted avi/xvid-svcd with dvd2svcd & cce.
everything worked out, only the picture is (slightly, but annoyingly) stretched when i try to watch it on tv. works ok with cyberlink on pc-screen, but i want to watch it on tv, don't I .)
i checked 16:9 borders added, encoded as 4:3 (source avi is 1.818:1 (or 16:9)) as the faqs told to use 16:9 the closer the ratio get's to 2:1.
all the other boxes are checked according to the latest guides.
the problem is that i can't seem to find something like "encode to 16:9 KEEP ASPECT RATIO" like i do in Tmpgenc. because that worked using tmpeg standalone (unfortunately my dvd2svcd always crashed using tmpeg, so i use dvd2svcd&cce ).
so there's only the 4:3 or 16:9 option in the dvd2vcd convertion register. anywhere to keep the RIGHT aspect ratio ?
i don't mind missing parts of the screen (as i don't have a 16:9 tv), but the proportions should be right.
any hints ?
thanks
