I have disks I have backed up which are playable.
I then copy the files from one of these disks, to my hard drive to make a further back up and rewrite the files to another disk.
The new disk with the same files will not play - the DVD player says no disk.....what is wrong with them?
I have a Pioneer A04 writer with latest firmware 1.40, using bulkpaq purple Gen 3 media.
Thanks

perhaps there is nothing wrong with yout writer, I had a similar problem and my HDD had bad sectors.
Run scandisk and defrag your HDD just to eliminate the possibility. -

If its a VCD, then a simple disk to disk copy is all that is needed. What is it ?
