Maybe it's just my computer, but DirectShow doesn't seem able to handle DivX videos very well. When I load a DivX video (usually DivX 3 Low-Motion) into Windows Media Player, the video plays slower than the audio, making everything out of synch.
The reason this is a problem for me is because I use DirectVobSub, which only works in one of my players (WMP). I kept movie and subtitles in separate files and relied on DirectVobSub to stream them together. However, DirectVobSub doesn't work in the DivX Player, which is where my video plays best.
Does anyone know a way to display my subtitles without adding the subs to my video permanently? Any other multimedia players?
