you should add a note about this product http://www.mediachance.com/dvdmenu/index.html

which makes nice menu's for maestro , impression pro , and scenarist (and others) .. has direct export for each of the major authoring packages and compiles the menus in the format that each type of authoring app requires .

  3. How do you know from where I linked picture

Yep... Looks pretty good. But reasin for this post was that I don't like too much how all authoring programs handles DVD Menu creation. I never worked with Scenarist but that picture made me believe that it can be done how it should be done. So what I am looking now for is if there is another tool like this where you can link menus and files in nice diagram instead of clicking on timeline or draging videos and not knowing what is realy happening.

right click on picture - > properties

in maestro you can do all sorts of links and such as this .. just different layout .. impression pro and reeldvd both have good menu creation (impression pro is rather basic but if you figure out the loops and arrows can do a lot)

  5. Can't you just create your menus in Photoshop and then import them? That's what I do most of the time. I know that Reel DVD will import the Photoshop layers as sub-pictures, I assume Scenarist will do the same.

  6. Gristle McThornbody, Thanks for your reply. I am not lookin right now for tool that can import Photoshop Menus. What I am trying to find out in this post what tools (programs) have ability to link menus and movies in very nice and clear way. What I was facing during my tests was that it is not always easy part. But thanks for your comment.
