When I am making an SVCD, i always have my audio out of sync, would this be because I record in MPEG-1, and virtualDUB is made to extract audio from an AVI?

Would this cause a "mis-read" in the audio extraction and cause it to go out of sync? I am baffled why mine is the ONLY one that goes out of sync, no matter what i do

    Syndrome

  2. Have you tried any other products to create your SVCD?

Could this be a VDub or TMPGEnc issue?

Not the answer you're looking for, granted, try VCDGear.

Mpeg 1, are not made to be edited, yours may have dropped frames, which wont show up on playback. If there was no problems with the mpeg 1, then Vdub would handle them fine.

Why are you extracting the audio anyway ?, if converting to SVCD with TMPGEnc just load the mpeg 1 in, and use its sound.
