    What no XEON?
    Supposedly best for VIDEO

    I have p4 Northwood 2.0, 1.8, 1.6
    and Celeron 533 (preflipchip)

I find AMD's lacking for VIDEO Processing tasks
because of its companion chipsets on all but the most recent motherboards(NVidias own chipset)

    I have an 800MHz Celeron o/c to 1.066GHz.

need a speed boost cos hq movie conversion takes a flaming age even with cce!

the iyonix pc has a 600MHz xscale risc processor - no fan - and is virtually silent. How many of us can say that about our pcs today (aside from liquid cooling - expensive) ?

Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons.

An old AMD Thunderbird 1133/266 @ 1200/200 (board not suporting 266mhz...
    Soltek 75kv+, 512MB SDRAM 133, WinXP Pro

With TMPGEnc, 4,5h-5h / 1h movie, using idle times, and working normaly with the PC...

Because i'm not a pro, but i do many movies conversions, i use the option to shutdown the PC when finish, and works great...

Why spent many money, only because of 1-2h????

My board and processor, with the change, take me about only 80€!!!

    And a gain of 50%....
