I have a file.mpg (MPEG2 480x480) that I encoded last night. After viewing the final result I decided that I want to clip a few bits off the right edge. Is there any way to do this *without* haveing to re-encode the entire mpeg again in TMPG.
I am somewhat of a newbie to avisynth but thought that might be my answer ?? *shrug*
Please help : )

No, it is not possible to crop without reencode it.

I would burn it as is. Because of horizontal overscan, your TV will may not show the right edge you are trying to eliminate.
