cant play ..........

in media player i get no pic and no sound. in virtual dub i get a pic but no sound. ive downloaded a few codecs but still no luck any help please.

well maybe you should of told me that you closed it and why you closed it then maybe it would have saved us both some time. and another thing the film i mentioned is also mentioned in several other posts in this forum so why havent they be closed or deleted what was so special about mine.

Download Gspot (link available under the "Tools" section, this will tell you what codecs were used to create the file, then make sure you have the proper codecs installed.

On behalf of the moderators, I think the forum rules are pretty obvious.
Your approach to fixing your codec problem is called "shot-gunning" in my business and sometimes it actually works. Like Prospero said, try Gspot.
