allright, just got a audio-cd from friend.. on the cover of the cd it says, "Will not play on PC/MAC", and yes, it doesnt work.. Is there any program or something so i can play the cd on my PC?

Turn the CD and look on the side with te audio data (not the side with the text description). Do you see a extra ring of data on the outer side ?
than thats the data how tels your computer that it is an non audio disc for computers.
Take a yellow post-it and stick it on the outer ring only, now your CD-rom reader doesn't see the data that tell it that is not for PC and it is playable again. -
You could also try ExactAudioCopy or Plextools (if you have a Plextor drive) to rip the tracks. I've not been without success with these tools (even if I've been forced to give up on the occational track now and then).
