I've been using virtual dub to do this deed. Problem is that I have to select "2-pass 1st pass" then encode. THEN select "2-pass 2nd pass" to get the 2 pass encode to work. This sucks because I cannot batch files since it writes a log each time.
-Is there a way I can batch jobs without overwriting the logs (do I have to rename each log for each file)?
-If not using virtual dub, what piece of software would you all recommend to do it?
Also, I've seen people doing 4 or 5 pass vbr divx encodes... HOW?
