Problems using ffmpegx 0.0.6d

I'm having some trouble doing the following:

1. I'm trying to split a 1.5GB mpeg into smaller parts using ffmpeg post processing split, but nothing happens!

2. I have tried post processing an mpeg file as DVD, but that doesn't work!

3. I have encoded two .avi (divx) into mpeg SVCD and when watched on my tv they have severe audio syncing issues! i'd really appreciate if anyone call tell me how to solve this!

Post what exactly you're doing (settings etc) and which error message you get.

to prevent sync issues either use "mplayer decode" option or doctor your .avi first with divx doctor II from 3ivx.com and encode the resulting .mov instead of the .avi.
