I've come across an unusual problem. When I directly back up my dvd's unaltered i.e. just rip the vobs then reburn them, they play back in my standalone identical to the original so it will fastforward at 2/4/8/16/32 speeds. However when I convert an Avi to DVD or burn SVCD to DVD using the header trick, they will only fastforward at 2x in the standalone - selecting any faster causes it to go back to the start of the DVD. Is there a way to author around this? I'm using Maestro and have also used Spruce but same results from both.
