    when I go into tmpgenc to edit my mpg2 file it says

    Could not open this file with directshow

    Anything I can do to fix this?

    You need to install a Mpeg 2 codec (Filter)

    There are 3 it supports

    Sony
    Cyberlink
    Ligos

    Install ligos, LSX MPEG Encoder Suite 2.0
