ADS Pyro ProDVD @ $99 Opinions Wanted

I'm considering purchasing the ADS Pyro ProDVD card/Ulead software bundle. I recently spent a week trying to get Pinnacle Studio 8 to work on my 2.0ghz P4 Dell. The Pinnacle software is now in the trash where it belongs, it should not be on the market in its current state of
development. ADS Pyro ProDVD seems like a great buy considering the
software that it comes with: Ulead MSP 6.5 Director's Cut, DVD Workshop
SE and DVD Picture Show. I am just a moserately experienced home enthusiast and would like your opinions on the suitability/capabilities of this package. I will be authoring mostly to DVD with a Sony DRU-500A and also have a ton of old VHS stuff I would like to archive on DVD. Camera= Sony TRV520 D8.

If you purchased Pinnacle Studio 8 and can not return it, I am willing to spend some time with you to make it work. My works If you don't want to spend any more time with it just ignore my message.

Thanks for the offer, but I was forced to do a system restore to undo the damage done to my PC by the multitude of fixes, patches and betas I tried from the Pinnacle support site. I would not trust any of their products in the future. I am not a neophyte in need of help, Pinnacle has a product that needs some help.

P.S. I also cancelled my subscription to PC Magazine for their Editor's Choice ranking of S8.
