  1. So heres the game - I've encoded three 50minutes film clips in tmpgenc, joined them using the same program and I would like to re-encode them to a lower bitrate, at the present 8000 I have a file 9.15Gb in size, I need to reduce it to under 4.7Gb to fit on one DVD.

When I try to open the Mpeg2 which I have just created in tmpgenc in tmpgenc,it says the file is not readable or is an unsupported format!

How do I egt the programme which ahs just created the file to recognise it and reencode to a lower bitrate?

You need to install a Mpeg 2 codec (filter) I recommend you install the Ligos LSX, it is one of 3 that will work with TMPGEnc +

    Sony
    Cyberlink (PowerDVD 4)
    Ligos

    LSX MPEG Encoder Suite 2.0
