  1. Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if upgrading TMPGENC makes a big diffrence on quality? Im using TMPGENC version A, Just because I don't need to change the registry and worry about expire dates. But does the newer version provide enough quality changes to warrent an upgrade?

    Thanks,

  2. As far as MPEG2 goes most seem to think that beta12 (no letter) is the best. After that 'a' and 'h.' Some current posts are saying that 12j encodes much faster than the previous verisons. I haven't tried it yet thou. For MPEG1 they all seem to be about the same.
