  1. Does anyone know if it is possible to burn downloaded mpegs onto cd so they can play on psx2 or dvd?Could this be done with a program like nero or diskjuggler? or would you need special software? Also can it be done with only cd writer or do you need a dvd writer.I have cd writer and nero.

    You need a mod chip.

You also need to know the difference in your mpeg's....are they VCD, SVCD, or neither(about 1/3 of what you could download). Check out the PS2 forums for all the gory details.

You can't play vcds or svcds on a PS2, period.

If you want to use these mpgs to create a vcd or svcd then just read the guides to your left. If you want to see whether your dvd player can play vcds or svcds than check the DVD Player list to your left.

  4. There's quite a few programs out there...

EZCD, Nero, or what I use...DVD Movie Factory.

With DVD movie factory, it's pretty easy...drop your mpg into the box and it'll encode and burn everything you'll need.

have u moded your ps2? And if you have read the guides and you will need a dvd-r burner. If you need one that is not to expensive try the Panasonic DF-310 or 311. Also if you have moded your ps2 what mod did you use?
