Does anyone know how to convert an MPEG2 that is widescreen(4:3 display shows up in TMPGEnc) to fullscreen? I have Video arrange method on fullscreen, but the file still turns out to be widescreen. Any help is appreciated..Thanks.

It is a good thing that it is still widescreen. If it wasn't then it would be stretched vertically and everything would look taller. The only way to properly convert a widescreen movie to fullscreen is to cut off the edges. If you don't understand very well widescreen, fullsceen and aspect ratio and you should probably read this article http://www.doom9.org/aspectratios.htm

Thanks for the link..informative. I will have to try a few different settings to see what happens...Keep aspect ratio may be the key that I was looking for.. Does TMPGEnc ( when you do a preview)give you a true display, or can it be different when you view it on a DVD player?
