confused with rempeg

seem to manage everything else easily until this rempeg 2 part confused making file in notepad then opening in rempeg nothing happens just got burner and been trying to figure this out for about 50 hrs doing my head in. I've looked at all the forums i can find and all tutorials and tried to figure it out without success. managed a dvd-5 quite easily any help will be gratefully recieved.

is your cffl file in the same folder as your vobs?

why dont you try demuxing your vobs to a m2v file and import that instead.
or even better get cce, it runs rings round rempeg2

I'm with ya there. Rempeg2 confuses me too. Thats why i am avoiding those movies that are too big unless i split to 2 dvdrs. Anyway why spend tons of hrs when there are many reports saying video/audio is messed up afterwards.

Yup..I've been having problems with TMPGEnc aswell to shrink files....how do you manage to split a DVD into two ?

I think you got a CFFL file like this:

CFFL

blah.vob
blah1.vob

make it like this:

CFFL

c:\PORN\blah.vob
c:\PORN\blah1.vob

so write down the directories in front of the vob's. That will do the job

Tried the directories in front same outcome must have tried 12 times going back and forth to tutorials. is there another software package that does the same as rempeg?
