    I downloaded a movie in wmv format, what the #%?@$# is wmv?! And can I convert it into a regular mpeg?

    WMV, Windows Media Video, it will play with the Windows Media Player that comes with Windows. Tmpeg should be able to convert it to mpeg without any problems.
