    when i tried to convert my file for the header trick to play a svcd in dvd, tmpgenc gives the following message...

    347593 s packets cause buffer underflow
    The MPEG file might cause error when it played

    what can we do with that???

    Just check that the new file is all there and in sync. It usually is. If so then just ignore the error. It happens all the time to me and I have no problems with the resulting video.
