I am looking for a program that is basically an all in one encoder and burning app. The reason being is I am trying to help someone make a vcd that has little experiance with it, or computers in general. I was hoping there might be something similar to just dragging & dropping the desired file(s), it would encode it, and burn it. I was going set them up with nero express as they know how to make audio cd's with mp3's, but I was unable find if it would cut the movie in to seperate parts if the movie was more than 74 mins. If it is possible please let me know or if there is another program, remember, simplicity is more important than video quality.

    Thanks

hi everybody ! I went on the ulead internet site and the moviefactory v2.0 sounded great... Before i buy, anyone could tell me the quality of the encoder to svcd format if you compare with something like tmpgenc (don't care about the audio, as long it is stereo it's ok for me... what about the image quality?). If ulead's isn't the best one-step encoder-burner which one would it be? ( for doing .avi to svcd format ) Thanks a lot for your opinion and experience!!!

  5. Look into Pinnacle Studio 8. Encoder is not as good as TMPGEnc but it does it all and it is very easy and powerfull tool for editing. Mainly for home video. Not good for ripping and re-authoring.

Having tried Ulead DVD Movie factory I would stick with TMPGEnc & burn with Nero.
