  1. hello,

I'm having a major problem. I tried to convert a MPEG to a bin using VCDImager and it keeps telling me "EROR: image too big (643229 sectors >449850 sectors)" then it cancels the conversion. I've tried over and over again, it can't convert it to a BIN. I have no idea what to do. I'm not a computer whiz, so if you need more info to help me, just leave a post and i'll get back to you with the info. Thanks for an help.

    Thanks a million

  2. well...

how big is that MPEG stream of yours?!?

is this the only warning/error you get? or is there some warning about (auto)padding being necessary?

vcdimager does not split your MPEG streams... this must be done w/ some tools specialised for that task...

  3. When you say "how big", do you mean in KB? If you do mean in KB, its i.39GB in total. Is that too big? If it is, i can split it in half and put it on two cd's, if that's the case.

Yes, that is the only error message i get. Hope this can be of use to you.

  4. well, the maximum size of the mpeg stream (assuming it has the correct packsize) to fit on a 80min CD-R is around 800 MB...

has used vcdimager via tscv to creat images of streams that are over 900Mbytes (for 90 min cdrs).....tscv is just a gui for vcdimager and it does this no problems...just gives a warning saying it won't fit on a 74 min cd.....but it still goes ahead and writes it....

tscv is still a beta tho and it took some fiddling to make it work...but now i can make svcds with chapters.....so it was worth it
