I'm running out of disk space and my current PC does not have enough space to hold another hard disk. I've noticed Maxtor are doing a 250GB external HD in the form of the 5000XT using either firewire/USB2. Has anyone experience of using this to capture DV from their camcorder? Is it quick enough so that you don't have any dropped frames? As it's only £1 per GB, it sounds good value but I want to ensure it is quick enough for capturing.
Cheers,
