1. As respond to your statement "Sounds like some people need to get a real standalone DVD PLAYER.", that it is not DVD player issue but cheap disk problem.
2. By saying "I can burn them at 1x speed in RecordNow DX." and "BTW I don't have this problem with RecordNow DX" it is obvious that problem might be in user since I don't have it and can't confirm it.
3. Let me repeat this "So if I choose 1x speed and it still burns 2x than I call that bug too and it ruins my DVD's." Am I correct ? Again... If I select burning speed 1x and any program will burn it at 2x speed....Whay is it then ?
4. At last ,I am trying to explain you that it is not correct to blame for all problems with RecordNow to "other" tools or hardware. It is very possible that even RecordNow (any version) can have bugs. As more and more people are starting using it I can see more posts with problems (I am not saying that they are not user errors, same applies to any sofware).
BTW: I like your posts and you bring a lot of good ideas hereSo sorry if we disagree on this. I just feel that you are not very objective in case if RecordNow

And if anybody is still interested here is what I do...
Instead of choosing burning speed in "Jod" form, I set default options in "Tools" / "Options" / "General" / ....
[ ] Remeber settings ..... (UNCHECKED)
Speed [1x ] [Record ] [Verify every round ]
defense, just an idea... I saw in "How to" guides for "How to burn to DVD... with ......" Maybe you can create one for RecordNow ... so we will know what are the right options.

@ donpedro, thanks for the information, and you said it before me, because I was going to tell you the very same thing regarding your posts. I probably do have more bias towards RNM since Nero has caused me MANY problems with "DVD's." Anyway, I have enjoyed all of the posts we have engaged in, and you actually lead me to a link which helped me take a chance on the ACCU's I ended up receiving. Fortunately for me, I got the Lead Data and Sony manufactured ACCU's, rather then those garbage ACCU's you got from Meritline. Anyway, as far as your suggestion, are you saying that it would be a good idea to post what options to select in RNM? If so, I will do that with no problems. Thanks again DP
P.S. just two other things really quickly. One, I personally liked your other avatar better, the disney character. And what ever happened to your signature at the bottom of your posts? You used to have something about list your computer information, it is helpful in solving your problems. Then that confused people who had the info already listed, then you changed it to something else, and now you have nothing. I'm sure you can come up with something good. Just an idea.
