  1. I really have no clue to post this since it's such a weird problem, anyway here we go.

A friend burned me a DVD to watch since he just got his burner, now I have the DVD (I wanted to make sure my DVD player can play back-ups) but he burned it wrong! He made the DVD into a .img file and burned it on DVD wrong. Basicly, he draged and dropped the file instead of burning it as an image. My question is how can I open up this .img file myself and make a (S)VCD? He left on vacation for 2 weeks(really he did), and the dumbass deleted all the files. I hope this enough information.

  2. not sure because I am not at home, but I believe if you look on the left under tools for a product vcdgear or download www.vcdgear.com you can convert the img back to an mpeg

If it is a dvd you can't use vcdgear. You can use virtual daemon(and probably isobuster, cdmage) to open img files and extract the files.

  4. Yeah, it is a DVD and ISObuster & WinISO woudnt open it. I just tried this CDMage, but for some reason it gives me this error:
Error in cue file:C:\Were I put the .exe which was the only file\CDMageTMP.cue
Index value out of soruce value
    Image file may be truncated

Now I have no clue WTF that means

Use virtual daemon(it makes the img as a virtual dvd-rom). It should work...maybe not if the .img is made with some strange tool...
