I'm really getting tired of this. After some CD-r's, a lot of CD-rw's, and losing some milimeters of my shoes, I don't know what to do anymore.
I have a movie, and a srt file.
-I converted the movie to a sub file (through SSA)
note: I tried everything on SVCD and CVD-subtitle way
-Next I used WinSubMux, to multiplex the sub file with the movie.
-I tested the file with the same program, and it said it worked
>Finally I burned the subbed movie, at none compliant way (or else I would lose the sub, I red somewhere)
Result, movie works, but the timer at the display starts acting strange, from 14 seconds, till 15 appears it takes about 3 seconds, and another 3 seconds before 16 is visible, I can select a subtitle, but it doens't appear (when it's supposed to)
>I also used VCD Imager GUI, to create a bin file, burned it with nero, result: timer acts strange again, dvd-player 'crashes' (doesn't give a response any more, just stops), this happens when I start with the subtitle, or without. To make it more strange, if I start at for example 5 minutes after the beginning, the subtitle works okay, and the timer too! But the beginning just doesn't work, it crashes at the moment it should display the first subtitle line
>And I tried VCD easy too, created a bin file, burned it with nero, and I get the same result as with VCD Imager, but now without sub.

My DVD-player is able to play subtitles (it's a Philips 622).
I tried the examples for the subtitles (on this site), and they worked on my player.

Please, is there somebody who can help me?
