  1. I downloaded this movie where it says I need that to play it. I went to xvid.org and downloaded the codec, but there's no install program or anything.

    Xvid is not a program,just a codec so you can watch xvidmovies and encode movies to xvid.

    www.xvid.org only disturbute the source code and latest cvs snapshot, for binarys you should go to either http://nic.dnsalias.com/ or http://www.roeder.goe.net/~koepi/ i recomend using koepi's complied source code, seems alot better then nic's
