  1. I have been using these programs for quite a while now without many problems. I recently started using the new version of tmpge and now I keep getting the dreaded audio sync problem when I use dvd factory ver 1.0. I have found that if I adjust the audio bite rate on tmpge to 224 it helps the audio sync, but I want to keep the audio as good as possible. What settings do you guys use (if you have the same progs). I am fairly new to dvd-r, so Im not up to speed with all of this at the moment, but after reading a few other posts it seems quite a common problem.

  2. I forgot to say that I have installed the ulead audio patch, and the audio sync is fine at the start of the movie but gradually goes out to about 1 sec to the end of the movie

For me MovieFactory goes out of audio sync if the TMPGEnc MPEG2 file is large, around or >4GB. If I split it in two there is no sync problems.

  4. Yep that seems to make sense, as tmpge always makes a massive file if you leave the wizard on. Do you do 2 seperate jobs with tmpge, like you were making a vcd? And can you then drop the 2 files straight into dvd factory?

    Hey there,

I've just discovered the same problem with large mpeg2 files and dvd factory after burning a few films onto DVD-R (that will teach me not to burn to RW first!).

Is this phenomenon limited to Ulead products (is there a patch to rectify this?) or is it more of a file size issue problem? What's the best way around it?

    Regards,

    Rob

  6. Yea the same thing happened to me.. Could an admin, or someone know how to change settings so the audio is as good as possible as it was in the beginning?

  7. My Ulead DVD Workshop won't import (crashes) any MPEG2 files (PAL DVD compliant) that exceeds 853,268,484 bytes. (813 MB)

  8. The only time I ever get this problem is when I am converting with vcdgear.

When copying an mpeg2 file from a cd, then doing it...The audio is fine
