Newbie with DVD Copy Plus

I am new to this and dont know very much. I bought a program called DVD Copy Plus. It is a tutorial that comes with Smart ripper, DVDx, and CDRWIN. I followed the step in ripping and converting my movie. I watched the movie before trying to make a backup and the director talked through the whole movie. I posted a message before on this website and everyone told me to use a different audio track. I dont know how to do that. Do I find it in smart ripper or when I convert in DVDx? I loaded smart ripper and it does give me a list of files. I dont know what any of them are. It has titles 1 through 14. I can open each of those. Some say angle, program chain. Or do I wait until I rip the movie? If so, what type of file is the audio track? Please help...
