  1. hi everyone,

    i've converted a few videos to dvd mpeg2 (avi,mpg files,most of them are radiohead live videos)
    everything is fine about the video,but the problem is : the audio is crap !
    i used virtualdub first,to separate wav from the video,then i encoded it using tmpgenc into dvd pal...

    does someone have any idea,to keep the sound as good as it is in the main file ?that would help me a lot thx

    If you are doing any sampling rate converting(44 khz to 48 khz) be sure to use high quality under option->enverimentel settins->audio engine in tmpgenc. Or you can use ssrc as external sampling converter.
    You could also try use toolame as external mpeg1 layer 2 encoder in tmpgenc.
