Spruce Up Help please

Everytime I go to import an mpeg to SpruceUp, it freezes betwen 6-20%, then it stops loading the mpeg. My Mpegs were done with TMPGnc at
MPEG-2 352x240 29.97fps CBR 1700kbps, Layer-2 48000Hz 224kbps

someone please help

Hi there

I had this particular problem when starting with spruce up, try using
TMPGENC to demux the mpeg into an mp2 and m2v in the same directory with the same name e.g. fred.mpg becomes fred.mp2 fred.m2v
then inport fred.m2v and it should open both ok

thanks for the help. I split the audio and video, and still didnt work. Only change I had to make was rename the *.mp2 to *.mpa.

Now I can finally clean out about 30 gigs of mpegs
