When I want to frameserve a particular avi file, everything in virtualDub seems ok, until I try to open (the small, served file) in TMPGEnc. It says -- cannot open... the file cannot be opened even in Windows Media player.
Then I open another avi in the VirtualDub and start frameserving again.
With that file - there are no problems. The small (served) file can be open in tmpgenc and in MS player as well.
Then I stop frameserving that one, and go back to te first (problematic) one. Again it doesn't work.
So how this can be possible?
VirtualDub can frameserve without problems a given file but not another.
Note that I can preview the problematic file in virtualDub and everything seems ok.
thank you.

Well, I found the answer 24 hours later.
It didn't like the file name. Probably because of the spaces I don't know exactly, but after renaming the initial file to a shorter name without any spaces everything went OK. I didn't touch anyother parameter. Just the name. It's probably a bug in VirtualDub.Best wishes,
