  1. My audio and video looks good until I burn it to DVD, that's when it gets off. I am using Ulead DVD Movie Factory to burn my DVD. My Burner is a Pioneer A05, if that makes a diffrence. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or sugest another Program to use for burning that will not throw off the the audio sync!?!?!?

    Thank You

  2. Hi Airborne

I am having the same problem. I am capturing with a win-tv PVR 250.

    My Specs:

    AMD Athlon XP2200 (1.8GHz)
    512 MB DDRAM
    100G Hard Drive
    120 GB Capture HD
    Windows XP

    Custom capture profile:
Program, VBR, 7000 max bitrate, 5000 minimum
Video looks great when Burned on DVR-105
Burned using DVD MovieFactory 2-Trial version

However, the audio goes out of sync about 30 minutes into the program. It appears the video is ahead of the audio by at least 1 sec

When viewed using WinTV there is not an issue with A?V sync...everything looks perfectly.

Is it an issue with MF? What other burning apps have people had success with?

Would it help to do a simple multiplex with TMPGenc? Probably not since I don't think the problem is with the capture.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

  3. I am wondering if it isn't an issue with Movie Factory. I haven't tried any other programs to burn with, mainy because I don't know of any others

I have been following this guide http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/userguides/114252.php
(well at least the part of DVD2SVCD), and then converting the file to MPG2 with TMPGEnc. Before burning with MF I check to make sure the audio sync is ok, and it is, but the burned DVD is out of sync (as previously stated).

    My specs are:

    P4 1.8
    512MB DDR
    40 Gig HDD
    Geforce 2 MX440 64MB
    Avermedia TV Tuner
    creative Audigy Platinum sound card
    Pioneer A05 DVD-RW
    Iomgea CD-RW
    Creative 52X CD Rom
    Windows XP Pro

    Thanks and Aloha

  4. I also had the same problem. There is a patch to correct this problem on the Ulead website, for Movie Factory 1, download "CD/DVD Burning Patch" . It works for me.
