I downloaded files from a site that work whenI view in Divx. I want to put them on my dvd player. What should I use?

I guess I'll bite since nobody else has. Look, you need to read the guides on this site, i.e. divx to dvd-r, avi to dvd-r, etc. The short answer is that you will need to encode the files to dvd compliant mpeg2 format, import that file into an authoring program like DVD Maestro or Spruce Up and then burn the resulting files with Nero or Record Now. There are many steps that require reading. There are many guides and many are quite good with pictorials to assist.
