Anyone know the max file size for a DVD in Prassi.

Managed to rip a film and without re-encoding it was 4,518,950,912 bytes.

When writing in Prassi, I got a disk write failure message (it hadn't even tried to write to the disk). What a message!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway Prassi works as it will write smaller stuff than this.

I ended up using Nero, but I don't like it as not compatible with my 2nd DVD player.

Anyone know how to change the limit or what it is.

    Thanks for all the cheese

  2. Dunno mate,

That size movie equivilates to 4.2gb, what audio are you using? PCM or AC3? PCM is uncompressed therefore higher filesizes, AC3 is compressed.
