1. Does anyone know of a program (other than Sonic MyDVD) that can create VCD slide shows with an option to fit the "image display time" to the length of the music track?
Most programs allow youto adjust the "image display time", say, from 1 to 60 seconds. I would like a program where, if I have a 3 min. 37 sec. audio file and 46 pictures, it would automatically adjust the "image display time" so that the slide show lasts exactly 3 min. 37 seconds. (I've used Sonic MyDVD, and it is capable of this. But, I have had some other major problems using MyDVD, so I am looking for another software package.)
2. Also, is it possible to make a VCD containing, say, 5 different slideshows where slideshow #2 starts automatically as soon as slideshow #1 ends? Then, slideshow #3 starts as soon as #2 ends, and so on... Can this be done with Ulead DVD PictureShow 2?
3. I recently downloaded the trial version of Ulead DVD PictureShow 2. I like it for the most part (aside from its apparent inability to perform the above 2 tasks). But, I was unable to use *.wav files for my audio track when making a VCD slide show - *.mp3 files worked fine. Does anyone know if DVD PictureShow 2 supports *.wav files? (I thought I read a post saying that it did, but I can't seem to get it to work.)
Thanks for any help!!

It looks like DVD PS won't do this automatically, though you can tweak the global image duration manually to get close to the duration, and if you wanted to hit it exactly could futher tweak the duration of selected individual images. I can't imagine why they left such a basic feature out of the program when they went to all the trouble to let you adjust add individual audio to individual images etc etc. Bummer, since I was really hoping DVD PS 2 would add that.
The program doesn't go quite far enough. For example, how about being able to select a group of slides within the show, add narration and auto fit the duration of the squence to the narration, instead of having to fit image by image as with the present version.
One program that does let you adjust image duration to fit audio is WinOnCD (v 3.7 and above, I think), also allows multiple slide shows on disk, but I don' t think you can set it up so they are chained together. Because it's basically a burner program (as opposed to authoring) the menus aren't quite as slick.
I used .wav files without problem in DVD Pshow 1.0, so again, not sure what's going on with you.

ScottAJJD, you can do all things you asked using Winoncd 5.

different audio tracks for the different slide shows, play in sequence or have the option to create menus. No templates are provided, so any menus have to be created in a paint program.
even though it is a burning application it does provide a nice authoring interface for (s)vcd. no demo available. -
You can try Photo2VCD Professional from http://www.photo2vcd.com. It can automactily synchronize the video & audio of your album movies.
