    Hey, i been looking on the net for methods of playing vcds on the Sony DAV-5300. Anyone know how i can do this? cheers in advance, and PLEASE REPLY

    According to the DVD player compatability database, that player will not play CDR's, it will however play CDRW. Try burning your VCD's to CDRW's and see if that works.

    cheers, i looked thru the list, but didnt even think to look if it played CDRW, cheers for ur help, will test it out
