DVD Authoring / Video Editing

Hello! I'm looking for a program similar to Pinnacle Studio 8 that can capture, edit and export movies to DVD. I would like it to contain most of Studio 8's features (Dual audio tracks, image overlay, transitions, moving DVD menu buttons, etc). I love Studio 8, but it keeps freezing on me during the editing and outputting of long movies, hence this question. So what programs would assist in what I am doing? Many thanks!

I haven't found a single program that can do all that Studio 8 is supposed to do. But you can try the following combination:

-Roxio Video Wave Power Edition to create the whole movie. It has good video editting capabilities, lots of transitions, and effects, but a bit limited in audio (in fact it's a bit tricky). It's a stable product that will not crash. It has DVD authoring capabilities, but it's too limited. So create the whole movie into a MPEG2 file (or movies) with this program and later...

-Ulead DVD WorkShop: This program is very good for DVD authoring. Import the movies into DVD workshop, add the menus and chapters, and you're done! This program is also very stably and will not crash.

Both programs are expensive, Ulead is even more expensive than Roxio. But they work very well...
