  1. I just converted a Divx to VCD but there was no sound, so I used VirtualDub to "extract" the audio out of the file.

Is it possible to multiplex the mpeg (VCD) File and the Wav file to a new VCD File, or do I have to convert it to Mp3?

  2. VCD audio must be Mpeg1 Layer2 224Kbit, 44.1kHz, 16bit. Yes you have to compress the wav file and multiplex the two together.

  3. So converting it to mp3 would not work?
