  1. I've no idea what brand it is or anything, but here's the link to the page http://cyberguys.com/cgi-bin/sgin0101.exe?UID=2003011616503722&GEN6=00&GEN9=5CG01&HKW=...REQC=3&UREQD=4

A pack of 25 discs is $27.99 or 50 for $55.98 which seems like a good deal for v2.0 media. That should mean that it's 2x compatible, right?

I might just order a couple of the single discs to confirm they work if no one has had any experience with them.

    Thanks for any feedback.[/url]

For that price you might as well order some Riteks from somewhere that says thats what your getting. Should be about the same price or cheaper depending on how many you purchase at a time.

For the record: no, "version 2.0" does not mean 2X-write compatible. What it means is "4.7Gb", as opposed to the "version 1" discs which only had a 3.9Gb capacity.

Might be worth picking up one or two of the singles and using the DVD Info program to find out who the manufacturer is (assuming the mfr. code is one that's already in the database here), but I wouldn't risk money on a spindle pack until then. After all, they might turn out to be *gag* Princos...
