I use womble and it works perfectly... But, i am teaching my mom how to cut the home videos and there are a few things that womble is bad for. That leads to my mom making a bunch of mistakes.

1) No DVD preset and depending on how you open the video file to edit it sometimes defaults to having video settings from the file or sometimes it defaults to SVCD settings.

2) Don't like how it needs a seperate file to be saved for the batch processing. Or at least suggest a batch file name with the same name as the video file that will be output. Ideally, not having to save a file.

3) Once you start a batch process you can't pause it. Nor do you know which file it's processing... Just the precentage of the current file.

4) Doesn't remove items from the queue after completion.

I've heard some other editors like M2-edit and some other programs i can't remember.

Is there a program that is easier to use for cutting MPEG2 files at 720x480 with a bitrate of about 6000000. That i could have my mom use.

Thanks in advance
