  1. OK, I've tried a search on this but can't find anything specific to this problem I'm having...

After I've used IfoEdit 0.95 to author my files into the VIDEO_TS folder I go back in and load the IFO's from the new folder and press GET VTS Sectors. It gives me some message checking if I'm sure I want to do this. I continue and that is supposedly that.

Now, when I try and burn the VIDEO_TS and empty AUDIO_TS folders using Record Now MAX it won't let me. Now, I've had this several times and I now know that it is a problem with the sectors (even though I used Get VTS Secotrs). The way I get round it (I stumbled across it after trying all ways to get a compatible disc image) is to try and use IfoEdit to create a disc image. I load the IFO's an click on the button to create the image - IfoEdit must do a format check and it tells me it's updating various sectors. I then attempt to create the image but then I get some other error (I forget exactly, but I cannot create an image using this). Anyone know what I need to do to be able to create a disc image using IfoEdit?

Anyway, Record Now MAX now allows me to record the DVD because I've been able to correct the VTS Sectors using this convoluted method in Ifo Edit (not the correct way). The burnt DVD-R works fine - no problems.

But I'd like to know why the Get VTS Sectors doesn't appear to work. Is there something else I can use to do this (another piece of software)?

Also, if anyone knows why the create disc image function in IfoEdit won't work (anyone had similar problems)?

    Cheers
