i know that the stream should be at 44100Khz......

You CAN, but it would be absolutely useless. VCD standard is strictly limited to MPEG-1 Layer 2 audio, 224 kbps and 44.100 Hz.
AC3 sound is only useful in an AVI or, together with an appropriate
MPEG-2 video stream, on a DVD.There are only 10 types of people in the world:

Problem really lies in what player would play it. Since it is so nonstandard it probably wouldn't play in anything.Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin'
