    not really the future.

    it's just a stopgap since hd dvd seems to be taking so long.

    people like discs, cos they're small, they can be used in computers, they have instant access, they don't wear out, yada yada yada etc...

    expect this format to be a bit like laserdisc... it won't really pick up, but will fill the lack of hd material until hd dvd comes out.
