When I read this forum, I see a lot of different tools (sofware packages) that are used. Some can do one think, some another. So I started dowloading trial versions and put all features that are important to me into Excel spreadsheet. Then I thought that this might have some value to all of you, so I decided to post it on the web. I know some tools more and some less so what I am asking here is some help from you guys.
Web is here http://www.geocities.com/donpedro08001/
You can downlod Excel version update your product or fix my mistakes and send it back to me to donpedro08001@yahoo.com . I will update it periodicaly. I am doing this just as hobby so bare with me if I post incorrect informatio. As source I use Help file, your posts, web support and my own testing.
I hope you will enjoy it.

Dangit!
You had the same idea I had, I just hadn't gotten mine finished yet.
Well, I'll do one for VCD/SVCD authoring apps (specifically Picture/slideshow), OK?

Donpedro,
GREAT LIST!
Thanks for the effort.
How about adding some information on DV Type 1 and Type 2 on .AVI files. I believe the Pinnacle Studio 8 produces DV 1 and Ulead produces DV 2.
Ulead offers a FREE DV type 1 to Type 2 converter:

I realize that doesn't give you the details on what each software application choses but I thought that it was good info anyway! -
Web page was up since 01/15. Since then it was viewed 1192 times. I tested 13 products. But so far no email with additional products or any help. I am little bit disappointed
My work will slow down due decrease in my motivation.
Next product on my laptop is Pinnacle Edition, but it seams too complex to do quick review. It has very nice User Interface but not that easy (familiar to me) to figure out what is what.
I would realy appreciate help with Adobe Premiere and some more tools...
ThanksPinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home) -
