TV OUT VIDEO PROBLEM

Hey, when i try to play videos through my TV Out on my Radeon 9000 Pro I can see my desktop and stuff fine but when i open WM Player or DivX player all i see where the video should be is purple on the TV but it plays fine on the computer. Its the exact same as if you take a screenshot of a movie while its playing (or at least thats what i get from screenshots).

I guess that's a directx problem..
I know one nasty trick, is to turn off directx directdraw acceleration.
go to run -> dxdiag then go to display tab, then disable directdraw acceleration.

It worked with my laptop. (s-video out)
But my screen went black while it plays on TV.
So I have to give up one or another.
Anyone having same problem or just mine?
Any solution? thanks for reading..

I had the same problem, download the latest catalyst drivers from ATI. Go to

Display Properties > Settings > Advanced > Displays

Then set your monitor and tv to primary display (you'll see two blue buttons in each display box, click on the first one to set primary display).

Make sure you set you display to 1024 x 768. If your watching videos, I would set your display to 640 x 480 for best quality.

This is a little scattered but I hope it helps.
