I've tried connecting my VCR to my TV card using a RCA to RCA cable, but can't get a picture, even though i've changed the setting to Composite. What am i doing wrong?

you dont say what kind of card it is,on ati cards you need to go into the properties and turn on the tv out after connecting it to the vcr

Are you sure that is a composite in or an audio in or maybe an audio or video out?
Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin' -
I don't know Kitty, but shouldn't it work one way or the other, if one end is in and the other is out?
